Windermere Avenue

This is the contemporary renovation and rear second floor addition to a two storey, detached house near High Park.  The house was gutted – except for the original wood stairwell and paneled entry hall – and the basement underpinned.  The back of the ground floor was opened up to create a combined kitchen / dining / family room, with access to a new deck and the back yard.  The two children’s bedrooms on the second floor have sloped cathedral ceilings that allow for loft spaces backing onto the attic, and the master bedroom shares a fireplace with the ensuite bath.
